Melpomene Quartet
Despite being named after the greek mythology muse of tragedy, Melpomene is a string quartet born from the desire of the members to delve deep into the world of string quartet music and have a good time doing it. The quartet members are Aino Rautakorpi on violin, Helena Dumell on viola and Annika Furstenborg on cello. Apart from classical music, Melpomene's members are all seasoned session musicians in a more popular music oriented setting.
